This move affects all Pokémon in battle, and supresses the effects and use of items held by them. Magic Room will also prohibit the use of items through Natural Gift and Fling, but will not prevent item exchange, nor the consumption of berries through the moves Pluck or Bug Bite. These effects last for five turns or until Wonder Room is used again, whichever comes first. When the effect ends, items will return to their original activity before the move was used, e.g. a Pokemon locked into a specific move by a Choice item will be locked into the same move when Magic Room ends, but is free to use any of its moves during Magic Room's effect.
This move has a priority of -7, and therefore will always go after other moves during the turn, unless the target uses a move with equal priority, in which case move order is once again determined by speed.
